Woodcraft Rear Brake Return Spring

Fred Lee

Recommended Posts

I was having a problem with my rear brake dragging a little after releasing the pedal.  The pedal wasn't returning all the way up and the bike would not roll freely after coming to a stop.

I purchased this rear brake return spring that goes on the master cylinder and it completely fixed my problem.  It also added a bit more feel to pedal pressure.

Wanted to post in case other people were having the same problem.  My aftermarket rearsets could also be contributing to the issue because I noticed the mount that connects to the screw under the master cylinder is a lot different from the stock design.

Thanks Fred! I've been looking for a way to make the pedal action feel a bit crisper, so this might be just the ticket.
