Kyuzo
Moved my dash forward so that I could see the damn thing now. Really quick and dirty, Later I'll fabrate some of my own brackets out of beefier aluminum in black of course! I have a Fabbri Gen X wind screen. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XD8KYJJ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Also got Woodcraft Clipons Bars. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-clip-on-risers-w-adapter-plate-yamaha-fz-07-2015-2016 Though I may change to Suburban Machinary Bars later for more cleaner look. (had them on my SV650 and loved them!) https://www.suburban-machinery.com/duchypmoto.html The brackets I got were supports ones for wood. But they were cheap and they not staying in too long, just left the barcode sticker on cause I'm ghetto. Got ample space between dash and ignition. Parts needed 6x brackets with around 1.5"-2" hole to hole. Mine were a little over 2" I sandwiched two brackets on each side below the Headlight housing for more support. Get about 4 or 6 M6 scews with lock nuts or locking washers to extend. Im planning on getting shorter custom lengthed braided brake cables, so I kinda of wedged the cable in the t mount for now. As you can see in the eye view picture of street almost feels way to forward now. But can glance with my eyes now intead of moving my head down to always check speed and stuff. As for the gap between the headlight assembley and fork, I think I can close about 1/2" - 1" Once I make some more precise brackets, other wise I may jsut get some thick black plastic and stick in there with velcro or zip ties. Time for some beer!!! I kind of like the elongation of the headlight more forward now, doesnt seemed so slammed and pug nosed as before. Looks normaler?
