phanomenal07
So I just installed some Cnc levers and I’m not sure how to check free play. I just installed it and left the free play where it was set with the stock levers. I been riding around with it and it’s shifting fine. The friction zone seems to be closer to the grip then with then stock levers but I’m not sure if that’s because the new levers are shorter. Are there any harm to having the levers too loose or right? r1limited
If it works and you are confortable with it dont fix it. Free play is for safety, if you turn you bars left to right does the free play go away or stay as is, if as is you good to go. The engagement of the clutch after leaving the lever is personal choice, some like a long throw some short, the purpose of the shorties is 1: One finger pull 2: Short throw from bars. “Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.” --Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare Beccaria
