r1limited
Quote Those who have looked into smart motorcycle helmets can attest to the fact that they are usually absurdly expensive. I put together a list of the best ones last July, and the cheapest one was the Sena Cavalry helmet at $349. Now, that’s expenive considering we can’t really call this a true “smart helmet”. It’s a simple half helmet with an integrated Sena communicator. Start adding true smart features and you will see prices rise well over the thousand dollar milestone. hhttps://www.androidauthority.com/ply-motorcycle-smart-helmet-kickstartetr-819664/ “Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.” --Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare Beccaria
Redstang4
One day smart helmets will be affordable enough for us commoners.. That day cannot come soon enough! Seriously though I do think that these will be a nice creature comfort, but not necessary. It is nice to have gadgets and gizmos but at the end of the day it is still about the ride. r1limited
I would not mind some items, I personally am not sure how it would fit in my riding style. I dont like to be bugged while on two wheels, I mean if I wanted nagging in my ears I would stay home Pretty cool stuff, I would like HUD display to show MPH but I guess I have learned to ride over the past 50 years as what I call seat-o-depants “Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.” --Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare Beccaria
rider
Maybe they can integrate a targeting reticle for on-board missiles (I'd only use em on really, really bad drivers. Pinky swear). Someday.....
