Global Moderator mjh937 Posted November 10, 2017 Global Moderator Share Posted November 10, 2017 I was looking at a website with EICMA photos and they mention there were SP versions of the MT-07 and MT-09 announced. I cannot find any info about them. Has anyone else heard this? I know there is an MT-10 SP. (It still feels odd not typing FZ.)

Global Moderator mjh937 Posted November 11, 2017 Author Global Moderator Share Posted November 11, 2017 It looks like the article I saw was not very clear and the SP variant is only the -09 and -10. Maybe next year there will be a MT-07 SP.
gregjet
I think , from the specs the "SP" possibly stands for Schrodinger's Projection- In the specs it says- 698 AND 689cc, also 182 and 164 kg. You don't get to see which ones they are until you observe the bike and collapse the reality. "Mass forward design"????????? Maybe it HAS got the longer swingarm . Hopefully that would be "mass in the right place" design rather than the current "mass rearward". If you have ever ridden the 70's "mass forward bikes , you won't be hanging out for that design philosophy. Or maybe it means that YOU have to put your mass forward? Go forth and modify my son...go forth and modify...
