My local bike shop is running a really good deal on Bridgestone Battlax S21's installed. Is anyone in the community using them, or have any experience with them?

I would expect the PR3s to last a lot longer and also give better grip in the wet. So overall economy should be better with the Michelins.

S21's are way better than the s23's except in the wet ( talking seriously wet, not just damp ) when there isn't a lot of difference. Had them on a project DRZ400SM and now on my project GS500F.

I second that. I had some and they were very grippy and felt great all around. I realized though, I didn't need that good a tire so when they wore out I bought some Dunlop Roadsmart II's for cheap that were being closed out. Couldn't be happier with them for just every day cruising. (not racing) Life expectancy is good.
