Sup and nice bot ^^

Been on an MT-07 (Slightly different Fz07) for nearly two years now and decided to join in the community here.

Loving the bike having moved up from a YZF-125 and a temporary use of a CBF-500. Only problems I have is he slight Pogo on the suspension (probably me not setting it up properly) and after 10k it seems the gears are starting to play weird.

That being said, the weight difference between the CBF and MT is night and day, especially as I commute on the thing. Throwing my MT into narrow gaps without all the weight to counter makes riding so much easier on me. The YZF was great, but small for my build of a 6 foot chap.

As for mods, I started last year working on the front of the bike and will slowly get other stuff done as I go.

So far,

Photon 500 indicators on the front.

H4 Night Breaker bulb (Stock was crap at night)

A double bubble touring screen, long rides on the motorway were doing my neck in.

Some cosmetics like a tank harness and phone holder.

LED Relays for all wiring

My shopping list tho..:

- New suspension front and rear. It compresses a bit too much for my liking on the front and the obvious POGO.

- Tail tidy, only reason I don't have this yet is I haven't found one I like.

- Potentially to remove all the pillion setup, so the seat / pegs and go as a solo with a Gunfighter saddle for some more comfort.

- Crash cage for the lower side of the engine block

- Crash bungs on the wheels and engine block that fits with the cage.

- Ixil Exhaust. Just for the sound and weight reduction.

- Steel braided brake lines from HEL.

All in all, these mods are looking to cost me about half of the original bike price :o

I would absolutely love the XSR headlamp as a replacement, just for cosmetics, however I'm not sure about the legality and requirement for turn signals here in Europe. Oh and I've no idea if I can be bothered to mess around with the wiring.
