Hey everyone, just picked up a 2015 red and black fz-07 with 1200 miles on it. It has a few things done to it including, m4 slip on, k&n filter (being replaced), some kind of tuner, fender eliminator, different front blinkers, frame sliders, rear stand pegs, led headlight and running lights, bar end mirrors.

Im looking to do a few things to it. I am 6'1'' and feel a bit awkward sitting up so straight. Would like to have a little more forward lean on the bike. What do yall recommend?

Change the handlebars!! Pro Taper Carmichael Bars put your hands further apart which makes you lean slightly forward.

Thanks for the recommendation, not sure if i want a wider stance though. The bar end mirrors with the stock bars is allready to wide for me.

Renthal ultra lows should work. Width should be good. Drops the bars a bit and sligthly forward. Much lighter than stock steelies as well. They have the advantage of absorbing vibration ( though it isn't really a problem on the 07).

You could look at putting some aftermarket "over the top" (ie ordinar)y, bar clamps on as well which will move the bars forward BUT you will have to decide  what to do with the intrument module as it bolts on to the clamps. Lots of people move them forward anyway to make them more visible.

Be aware that if you are resaonably heavy, the soft springs will sag even more and rotate you backwards. Correct spring rate and damping will also move you effectively forward.

Go forth and modify my son...go forth and modify...
