Bike stolen in May, recovered in Sept

Insurance already paid for the bike but it has just been recovered and is now being auctioned off as a salvage title. I was musing the idea of buying it back but I don't know if it would be worth it.

A lot can happen in 4+ months. Do you know if it's worth owning now? Did you get a replacement, or do you still want this FZ?

Depends. If it isn't all dented up, and if the price is low, buy it and take it completely apart. Disassemble everything and tag each part. 

 

The FZ-07 has only been around for three years. There are only so many salvage parts. Take all the parts above and post em for sale on Ebay and also in our classifieds section in one long thread. 

 

This is what salvage yards do, and they make bank.
