You can upload images from phone, tablet or PC. Watch how below!

If you get an error message that your pic is to large, you need to resize your pic s! We allow max 3MB sized pics, which is more than enough.  Supporting Members can upload up to 10MB sized pics!

RESIZING PICS If on a phone, simply email the pics to yourself, then open those emailed pics and save to your phone and upload them. The email server will automatically reduce the size of those pics for you!

We allow free members to  have around 40,000 KB of photo storage on the forum.  Supporting members get unlimited photo hosting! Read more about that here https://fz07.org/subscriptions/

How to Adjust your notification settings and Account settings.

If you want to get the most of this forum and get the latest updated info and avoid being left out of the latest news, you must adjust your notification settings.

Have you checked and set your notification settings?

Click on your username at the top right of the website and click on "Account Settings" .

Now, on the right, under "other settings", click on "notification settings".

Adjust the parameters for how to notify you when someone sends you a pm, when someone replies to your post, adjust if you want to receive our rare news emails, and adjust if you want a browser notification or an email, or both.

REMEMBER TO CLICK SAVE!!!

FOLLOWING TOPICS - Where did that cool thread go?

Now, after you have your notification settings set up properly, it's time to start "following" important Topics.

Following a Topic means you want to be notified when someone adds more content to that thread. You can be notified via browser notification or via email, once per day or once per week with simple updates.

You can also easily "unfollow" a thread at anytime.

To follow a thread, simply click the "follow" button at the top right of a thread.

See pic below for reference.

After you click "Follow" a box will pop up, asking you how and how often you want to be notified when new content is added to your "followed topic".

See the pic below for reference.

But this will only work properly if you have visited your account settings and notification settings, and set your notification preferences, as described above.

ALL Activity: On this forum, instead of having different buttons for recent posts and recent threads, we have "Activity".

Please take a second to simply click "ALL ACTIVITY" at the top right of any page on the forum.

Once opened, you can click "expanded" to see all recent posts, reactions and "activity". It also shows when someone posts  a status update on their profile.

Or you can click "Condensed" for recently updated threads.

Its just different than the old software, but so much easier!  Well, if you try.

In fact, here is a link to "All activity" https://fz07.org/discover/

Ok, just added a button at the top called "Unread Posts".    This is a customizable feed of posts/content that you can customize.

Screen Shot 2019-02-15 at 6.28.53 PM.png

Click on it and it takes you to the most recent unread posts and content posted on the forum. But at the top, it's customizable.  You can click "condensed" to see only the titles of the topics that have been updated, or click expanded to see the first paragraph of the latest posts.   At the top, you can also adjust what type of content shows up, how many days of unread content pops up, authors, you can pretty much customize this exactly the way you would want it.

You can now go into your profile, "about Me" and enter your location and it will show under your profile pic in all of your posts!

Just go to Profile, Click edit profile, and go to "Bike" and enter year and model. Then click "save".

Please, still put your pin on the member map so that people in your area can find you and send you pm's.

NOTE: If you use AT&T email, Bell south email or most any other traditional phpne company email as your forum account email, YOU CANNOT RECEIVE EMAILS FROM THIS FORUM.

Why? AT&T Bell south and many other phone companies email servers BLOCK SMTP emails. This forum and many others use SMTP to send and receive emails. SMTP is secure and works well, but AT&T refuses to receive SMTP emails.

Why? I think they want their websites to be tricked into purchasing one of their email plans.

Please use a different email service on this forum. like gmail or hotmail or any other free or paid email service.  YOu can change your forum email by going to "Account Settings".
