Allan
I've noticed that when I'm on the MPG counter I've noticed when I am cruising at 55 at 4000 RPM in 6th and I let off the throttle my MPG goes through the roof.. But only until this value.. 94.2 MPG. It never goes any higher but it seems to cap out at this. Does anyone else experience this? Is this just the maximum value Yamaha put for MPG? I was just kind of curious if anyone had similar interest in this useless question I had. For Europe, its 2.5 L/Km. I don't know if that is what that displays as in Europe though. Any thoughts please share. I really am just curious about this.

Allan
That is also the limit of my MPG coasting down hill in any gear.It never goes any higher right? It just hits that and stay until you go back on the throttle, right?
rotaryryan24
Yep and the actual MPG is better than what is displayed. It usually says I average about 42 but in reality I usually get low 50. I reset the average MPG every fill up. You do or don't Then your dead. To order a tail tidy click One-off-fabrication.myshopify.com
Allan
What an odd number. What made them pick that? I mean 99 I could see but 94.2? That's just weird..
Global Moderator mjh937 Posted September 19, 2014 Global Moderator Share Posted September 19, 2014 It converts to 40 km/l. Maybe that is why. At least it is a round number.

Guest Ralph
Dont wish for liters over gallons, the powers that be will use it to disguise big price rises, instead of a 2 pence or what ever price rise per gallon they will stick the same on per liter it is one of the biggest rip offs they have ever pulled in the UK. I think my euro mt shows 99.9 on the overrun but not sure it's the computer cant divide by zero thing.
