dangrass
A few weeks ago I rode the FZ-07 from Berkeley, CA over the Sierra to Benton Hot Springs, took a nice day ride, and headed back. Great riding and really cool to hike the Methuselah Trail at the Ancient Bristlecones in the White Mountains. The bike did really well (other than the lack of air conditioning in 100+ temps) getting a consistent 70-73 MPG at legal-ish speeds with a high of 80 from Benton over Tioga Pass and down to Groveland. (200 miles) Here are some photos of the bike and a bit of the scenery. Dan
zheny
Must have been a great ride, thanks for sharing. Do you have the stock seat? How did you deal with the lower back pain?
dangrass
Have the stock seat. I actually find the stock seat to be pretty good and didn't experience any lower back pain. I think had I needed lower back support I would have slid the tail pack forward a bit as that seems to work pretty well.
