Hi,

Im getting the above error code on my Mt07 (2015) and also the engine warning light flashing. Where would i locate the ISC unit?

Any ideas what the issue could be?

It looks like the idle speed control valve is part of the throttle body assembly. Hopefully someone can give you some things to try before you have to start disassembling that.

I got that code on my race bike when I turned the idle speed up.  I just ignore it, the dash code goes away in a few minutes after start up in my case anyway.

Thanks, when i start the bike, its idling at about 3k revs and doesn't drop below.
thats a bit high. should be around 1500 for idle. most bikes are inc my tracer 700 which has the same engine in.

Double check to make sure you didnt take out all the slack in the throttle cable and then some...

It should idle about 1100 rpm when hot so it's idling much to fast
the code is likely due to the idle speed control unit reaching the
end of it's adjustment in a effort to turn it down, if you've been
messing with anything to do with the throttle system then go back
and check that.
Once the valve comes back off it's full travel the
code will likely cancel.
You've not balanced the injector body and not put the vac caps or
pipes back right by any chance.

YEah, that's YAmaha's name for an idle air control valve. You'll find one on pretty much everything fuel injected.

Unlike a motor with carbs where the throttles are cracked open at idle, in a fuel injected TB, the butterflies are sealed shut. The motor still needs air at idle and this is supplied by the IAC.

Sounds like yours is not working or stuck somehow - likely in an open position letting in too much air. .

it's located right between the cylinders at the back of the motor.

Yep, check 1st to see it's still plugged in.
