Why I think the seat is rather hard.

Compared to Corbin at 475, it seems price efficient ;)
 
But I agree, the seat prices are rather high in general.

When I had my seat redone by a local upholstery guy we studied the seat at length and it was apparent that the seat gradually became thinner as it went toward the back of it. Which is why whenever I shifted my weight back toward the pillion it got uncomfortable real fast. I could actually feel the seat bolts if I planted my butt just right.
Anyways, Whatever anyone does, they need to thicken the cushioning in the rear of the seat along with the rest, or just use better material @ the same thickness. I used gel and it works great.

Just in case you Yanks didnt know, the Corbin seat is the ugliest seat I have ever seen, that thing aint touching my 07.

Just in case you Yanks didnt know, the Corbin seat is the ugliest seat I have ever seen, that thing aint touching my 07.
If I had an old CB 550 or 750 I would put one, a stepped seat, on that, a cruiser of some type. Imagine one on a street/trail bike, ha!
