Premium Member jake Posted April 30, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted April 30, 2017 Started changing my own tires which is a no brainer for me now. $35- 40 a tire plus drive to a shop and down time this was a easy decision to make for me. About $ 200 investment total but you could do it cheaper if you handy and creative. I've changed tires in the past by hand so this was a fairly easy thing for me to do but its not for everyone. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/stockton-tire-valve-tool https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/motion-pro-beadpro-forged-steel-tire-bead-breaker https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/motion-pro-rimshield-ii https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/motion-pro-wheel-axis-truing-balancing-stand '>https://www.revzilla.com/product/motion-pro-spoon-type-tire-iron https://www.revzilla.com/product/motion-pro-steel-wheel-weights 5 2015 FZ-07 2003 2014 GSXR 1000

kbob2000
I ordered Bitubo JBH and XZE11 for my MT-07 today from Paul at Bellissimoto. Pretty excited as I find the stock suspension downright scary. Beemer
I bought some anti road rash jeans last night. If it doesn't get too hot this summer I'll wear my Bohn Armor pants underneath them. A sweet combination, IMO. https://www.amazon.com/OneDayMore-Spantik-Straight-Motorcycle-Armours/dp/B06Y2CRF85/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493998748&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=OneDayMore+Spantik+Straight+Fit+Aramid+Lined+Motorcycle+Jeans Update: They arrived and I'm sending them back , the fit is off. they say they are true to size but they're not, at least compared to every other 36" pant I wear. If you buy them be sure and order them 1 size larger. (if not 2 if you like them looser around the waist) They're also too tight in the hips, crotch and thighs as well but one size up should fix it all and 2 sizes up for extra room. 2 Beemer

kbob2000
Price should have held me back as well, but I was undeterred. Nope, 3-6 weeks if I remember correctly. Should be enough time for my wife to cool off after the coming flurry of boxes.

Rhok makes some nice ones, ii just bought a pair locally, but they are an ebay shop for 120 shipped, probably gonna get a second pair.... fit is much nicer than youd expect and pretty comfy w/ nearly a full kevlar sleeve. On the pair i bought, the tag said 36, but the guy swore he ordered a 38. sure enough measured the waist at a 38... so the tag may not match, but measure em and you'll be good. Rhok Pants 1 ATGATT... Beemer
I returned some jeans with Kevlar because my ass was too big and they didn't have my size, imagine that! :-S Anyway, I just ordered these instead. They don't have Kevlar but they do have my size and more than anything I want something that breathes and lets some air inside along with offering some protection. From responses I got from people that own these themselves, these are not heavy like most jeans are. They're light, comfortable and breath well but have highly abrasion resistant 600 denier in panels and in the seat and CE armor in the knees. I especially want something I can wear swimming trunks underneath to go to the beach without having to change and let air in to stay more comfortable. I'll give them a review later. (if they fit my big ass) https://www.amazon.com/SEDICI-Arturo-Mesh-Motorcycle-Pants/dp/B00IPYQYX0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494276836&sr=8-1&keywords=SEDICI+Arturo+Mesh+Motorcycle+Pants 1 Beemer

Premium Member Mr.Puss Posted May 19, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted May 19, 2017 In classic "me" style Ive completely fumbled any purchasing restraint, all mental discipline flew out the window and I purchased the Bitubo JBH forks (+oil) and XZE-11 shock for my beloved Dr. Beef Sharmachan. My bike and gear is partially Italian already which has all proven to be top of the line in quality, the internet seems to like the brand and the pretty pretty colours match my overall scheme. Alas, still no German parts so Dr. Beef's AXIS designation is still fleeting. These puppies will be my winter project. I mirror the common consensus here when I say Paul @ Bellissimoto was excellent to work with and provided a smooth transaction. Even for our mediocre Canuck dollar it was an amazing deal. Anyone looking for that special suspension upgrade, be sure to check out Bellissimoto as well as ForksByMatt in our vendor section. I'm really looking forward to spending a day or two getting it installed once it arrives. The first real performance "mod" I'll be doing to the bike. Everything else I've done to it has been either convenience (vista cruise)/safety (LED Bulbs) /appearance (fender eliminator) mods. 2 DewMan Just shut up and ride.
