Just purchased a mail in ECU Flash from 2WDW using their Black Friday coupon. Really looking forward to the flash next spring when I'll be able to ride again.

Here's some Bike Master mirrors I just received on Wed. The bike is in the shop right now, so I'll provide a pic of them installed later. But right off the bat I'm impressed with how sturdy they are for being completely plastic and only $34.00.....here's the link

Also bought the PDF Service manual download for 50 bucks Canadian...way better than the paper one at 3X the price here in Canada...as Yamaha US will not sell a manual to Canada...must be a Trump thingy...lol

Could you put a water bong next to it for a better comparison pic?

Yeah I know......health issue's

I still sneak in a cig every once in awhile 😎

I quit three years ago because my throat was acting up. It felt a little sore and was closing up to where it made everything a little difficult to swallow so I figured I'd better quit after 45 years of smoking before I get throat cancer and I found out later that the throat problem was due to allergies I didn't know I had.

Ha, I almost wanted to start back up right then when I found that out. I liked smoking so much, especially with a cold beer, but I knew better. I did sneak one a couple months back at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa. I made the mistake of wandering over to the smokers side of the building and it was too much to resist. I bummed one from a smoker but it tasted crappy and my lungs rejected it, I truly hated it then so that was my last "sneak in."

Cigarettes I think are one of the hardest thing to quit. I stopped drinking around 5 years ago because I was diagnosed with sugar diabetes, so I kinda had to stop, but had no trouble quitting. As for the weed, I stopped that 15 / 20 years ago and had no trouble with quitting that either....but the cigarettes, man that's a tough one….hard to do

Agreed and it was only because I got a good scare that I was able to quit. (the patch helped a lot) It's been said that nicotine is more addictive than cocaine and I believe them. I've done both and after just a few times of experimenting with the coke I quit it like a bad batch of egg shell potato salad and never looked back.

Maybe they should give pot a break and label nicotine the dangerous gateway drug to coke. 😉

I posted my crash here back when that happend. My bike and I missed most of the summer, but we have been back in action since September. I also just paid off Yamaha Motor finance and am eagerly awaiting my title in the mail.

https://www.2wheel.com/speed-strength-rage-with-the-machine-leather-and-denim-pants.html Just pulled the trigger on these bad boys. Paid $83.48 with a 10 dollar promo for making a new account.

These same pants are $135 bucks on Revzilla or Sportbike track gear is trying to sell them for $169.95.

Bought some CRG RC2 levers.

Side note, does anyone know of anyone that makes stainless brake line kits for ABS equipped 07s? Everything I'm finding seems to be non ABS only, and I'd love to get rid of the stock rubber lines.

I've not been able to find anyone who makes a kit for my 2017 ABS model nor the 2018 model. This has been a topic before. The only way, currently, is to measure and order braided replacements for each individual line.

That's what I was afraid of. At that point it wouldn't be worth the hassle or price for a bike that rarely sees hard riding.  You'd think someone would have a set by now, ABS has been an option on these bikes since at least 2017 if not sooner. I'd buy spare brake lines and send them in to replicate but even that isnt worth what it'd cost. Guess rubber brake lines it is lol.

I believe European MT-07s (2015 and newer) have always had ABS. And LED Blinkers... but that's another thread....  You'd think some company would have come up with a set by now.

Like you, I'd like some braided lines but I can live with the rubber lines if it's going to be that much hassle.

Well I feel like one of these should work, but they are up there in price.  Any members know if they would work?
