tbi12904 Posted February 26, 2017 Share Posted February 26, 2017 I got the 2WDW flash just before Christmas. I have an Akrapovic Carbon and no other mods. I've noticed a rather intense fuel smell as of late. I don't think it's ever not been there since installing the exhaust, but I've noticed it a lot lately for some reason. I kind of figured the flash would affect it to where maybe the fueling wouldn't be so heavy. Anyone else experience this with the flash? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But yes the tune is designed to make the bike run proper and not lean like it comes from Factory. Also the elimination of the cat may be compounding the "heavy" sensation. TheWulf Posted September 20, 2017 Share Posted September 20, 2017 Once fuel has been atomized and detonated, it shouldn't really smell like fuel anymore. Maybe you have an unrelated fuel leak somewhere in the system / spill from the last fill up. Eliminating the cat will cause an increased sulphur (egg) smell. Any black smoke?
