Had my ECU flashed by 2WDW and am wondering if I install the K&N filter will it have any effect on my tune? Thanks for your help. Alex Probably not, just let more dirt and contaminants into the engine. The original filter is there for a reason,,, longevity.... Yeah yamaha put everything there for a reason, that doesn't mean the aftermarket cant do better. Hmmmm lets see. Brakes, exhaust ,suspension. The K&N really doesn't change the flow much so no need for reflash. I checked with 2WDW and they said it was fine to leave as is.
