I saw mention of a "one month window for usage from date of purchase" in another thread? Is that true or does the purchase have a longer expiration date? I am assuming item is transferable (unused of course) since someone could purchase as a gift as well.

the tune isn't an item, you send your ecu in to them and they flash it. Unless you are talking about buying an exhaust from them?

I believe they said you have a window of a month from purchase to send in your ECU and get the upgrade done.

I have 2016 FZ-07, completely stock except for a Remus Hypercone exhaust, full system, with baffle IN. Addition of the exhaust actually improved performance over stock a little, low, mid, and at the top. However, a little backfiring going up and down thru 2nd and 3rd gears; will an ECU Flash eliminate this popping? More important, can you Flash my ECU to match the Remus (with baffle IN)? I don't see this exhaust listed on your posts listing aftermarket exhausts that have custom flashes applied.
(If interested, photos of my Remus system at the Exhaust system forum of fz07.org)

Also, any required changes to the air filter/snorkel/ airbox lid, etc. to benefit the most from an ECU flash?

Thanks,

Anyone know if 2WDW has a flash for the hordpower airbox with a stock exhaust?

We would need someone in the Seattle/PDX area to run by Nel's shop I think, check with Nels. They aren't on here ea day for obvious reasons. They have over 50 bike forums sending them ecu's 6 days per week, they only take Sundays off to see their families.

They have done over 100 from this forum alone. They also don't do discounts often because they really don't need to.

The best thing I like about their service is the free tune changes for your ecu. So when we change exhaust, send it in for an update and only pay for shipping. That alone makes this a killer deal.

Send in your ECU on Monday, get it back same week. Very fast and precise tuning from Nels and Pat. Awesome communications too.
