Thoughts on a 300cc ADV bike?

Labor Day Weekend I went on the Trans-Wisconsin Adventure Trail with a few other motorcyclists. Two of them were on TW200s and swear by them. I think the WR or DRZ could be great small adv bikes, better than the Kawi or BMW. For some reason when I see the BMW 310G/S all I see is this:

Yeah the WR250 R would be the one I'd get hard to justify the price when I could pick up a dirt only used for cheep... I'm keeping my eye out for a used WR haha.
Yes, used of course, those things are expensive. GL!

Only two test mules of the Enfield India Himalayan in the UK and the bike is already sold out for
next year,  the BSA has been sold and the new owners are looking to use the name
on bikes this pic is doing the rounds looks good but doubt it will be built.
