Global Moderator Guru Posted August 27, 2014 Global Moderator Share Posted August 27, 2014 I am sure that a lot of you guys&galls have a cover for your bike. Premium Member hobbs Posted August 27, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted August 27, 2014 I bought the Oxford Umbratex half cover and I think it's great. $20, packs up small (comes with a little bag), I can put it on the bike immediately without melting anything and if you had a tank bag, panniers, or a tail bag it should still fit well because it's snug at the base but has a little room in the body. I'll snap a picture when I'm home this evening. Size I bought was Medium, perfect fit, with or without luggage. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/oxford-umbratex-cover Everything went braap. howlinhoss
Lusipher wins. I have a Driven cover. It is my commuter cover but I haven't bought a guardian cover for my FZ yet.

Premium Member craigm Posted August 28, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted August 28, 2014 I keep mine in my garage. It's my first bike and I hadn't considered a cover. Do you guys still recommend using a cover while the bike is kept inside?
TwistedTorque
I keep mine in my garage. It's my first bike and I hadn't considered a cover. Do you guys still recommend using a cover while the bike is kept inside? If you are indoors the most you would need is a light dust cover if your garage isn't the cleanest. Outdoor covers are heavier and have protection from rain and UV light. My personal preference is to always keep it covered so I don't accidentally scratch it or do something stupid while walking past it.
Premium Member craigm Posted August 28, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted August 28, 2014 Good idea, I think I will look for a light cover. My stepson already caught it pushing his bicycle past, but luckily didn't scratch it!
Global Moderator Guru Posted August 28, 2014 Author Global Moderator Share Posted August 28, 2014 My bike will be stored inside during the winter months and I will get a cover for sure.
Premium Member crazycracka501 Posted August 28, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted August 28, 2014 Mine is in the garage and under full cover as you see the garage is full and kids running around bike just sends shivers down my spine. This cover also comes with eyelets to strap cover in windy weather. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f118/guerro501/IMG_0240_zps41e41d99.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f118/guerro501/IMG_0242_zpse96935c0.jpg http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f118/guerro501/IMG_0241_zps346c98c8.jpg Make it stop!....Now make it go faster!
