Premium Member norcal616 Posted October 7, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted October 7, 2016 I suspect the FJ version of the 7 will be the much improved FZ-07, just like the FJ-09 did with better suspension, better ecu mapping, ABS, windshield, minimal fairings, Traction Control, bigger gas tank over the FZ-09... the the FZ is bare basic entry base model level motorcycle platform for yamaha to build up on and refine... cheaper than throwing 2-3 versions of same bike out at same time, start with a great platform and listen to the customers want/ dislikes/ see how ppl set up for what ever they use the bike for...we are the R&D lab for them ? 2015 fz-07- Hordpower Edition...2015 fj-09- 120whp- Graves Exhaust w/Woolich Race Kit- tuned by 2WDW Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's probably the best part about the color scheme on my bike.I have the 2016 with the silver and blurple which I like a LOT! Having said that, I plan in about 2 years to buy the shiny black panels to give me the feel of a new bike. Those black panels work really well with the blurple too.
