z33guru
Anybody know how durable the stock bar ends are? I'm planning to install sliders soon, and wonder if the stock bar ends are good enough protection or if I need to replace them with something else. martyinaustin
sadly, i have a fairly good idea. i ate it pretty good the other week and my left bar-end got somewhat mauled. it held up great. yeah, scratches...but no chips or dents as far as i can see... that said, i was toying w/ some aftermarket sliders too...let's see what others say... m. rick
It's a big chunk of metal screwed into the end of the bar. Yours bars will bend before it fails.
duenan
I think its made from steel. Solid steel. You can kill someone with it. Engaging with people that have personality disorders on a message board is like arguing with a rock.
thomascrown
The bar risers or bar will bend long before you destroy the oem bar end.
