Cool feature but its fairly new. Good chunk of change as well...
Global Moderator mjh937 Posted August 20, 2016 Global Moderator Share Posted August 20, 2016 That looks interesting, but I think I would rather get the Helite solution. I would be concerned about all those electronics, instead of a proven lanyard.
Cruizin
Yeah the Helite is a proven piece of gear. Yamaha MT-10 ForumYamaha Tracer 900 Forum Yamaha Ténéré 700 Forum
Premium Member Mr.Puss Posted August 20, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted August 20, 2016 I agree with mjh937 and Cruizin here. I bought the Helite vest and have full confidence that their very simple mechanical system will deploy as it should everytime without question. While interesting, I would find no comfort in, nor would I trust my life to chinese made electronics and batteries. Keep it simple! Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women. Fuss Life.
bmwpowere36m3
Alpinestars airbag system in race suits is pretty well established... I imagine this system is derived from that.
bmwpowere36m3
A lot of "critical" things rely on electronics... so I wouldn't necessarily be so dismissive. Not say, they can't have their problems.
