toy Posted August 15, 2016 Share Posted August 15, 2016 So I've been looking all over to try and find some bars similar to the Pro taper bars. I currently have Renthal Streetfighter High bend bars. They are decent but I dislike the amount of sweep they have. I've looked into drag bars but not really sure I want a bar with no rise what so ever. I come from a motocross background and enjoy the more upright seating position. My question would be has anyone put Pro taper bars on an FZ07 using the pro taper 1 1/8th Universal rubber mounts? toy Posted August 17, 2016 Author Share Posted August 17, 2016 Ya. I saw they are wider. I can't legally split lanes where I'm at so not super concerned about that. I'm just wondering if they will work. I'm worried about the Tach I believe that that bolts to the OEM mounts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rocket007 Posted August 17, 2016 Share Posted August 17, 2016 The universal mounts won't work without modification, the bolts are 10mm diameter on the fz risers and 12mm on the pro tapers.
