Spiders gone, haven't seen it since that one time. Glad I don't have to take apart the gauge.
Until the little egg sac hatches.
Sorry couldn't resist.  :-X

When the guy in the Huntsman video goes, "See, that was easy...."

Haha, I caught a brown recluse in my bedroom, hiding in a pile of my clothes!! THEY LIKE TO DO THAT.
Caught it with a glass cup on the floor. Note, slip something stiffer than two pieces of paper than the guy in the video uses. I found an old CD in a paper sleeve. Did the trick.

Flushed it down the toilet... would've set it free if it wasn't venomous.

place we stayed at for a week outside Ohsaka had spiders about the size of one's palm with an abdomen the size of a golf ball. We'd hear a 'plop' as they'd land onto a chair or table from 5+ ft above. The area was infested with Japanese 'hoppers' - some kind of cousin to grass hoppers but not nearly so cute.
Good God Man!  SMH.

Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.          Fuss Life.

There's only two Allen bolts that hold the display tach on the risers, behind the display I'm sure comes apart to get to the circuit board where the spider maybe hiding

2 allens to remove cluster support
3 JIS phillips to remove cluster
Lots of security bits to remove case halves
Its not all that hard though
hobo freight sells a cheapo bit kit that has what you need and a whole lot more for about 10bucks

I took mine apart to see about putting a polarizing film underneath

ATGATT... ATTATT, two acronyms I live by.

Glad to hear it comes apart. Already have the security bit kit.

Did you happen to notice how big the vent was? Must be big enough for a spider.
