zerofz07
Hey guys. So ima be going to Buttonwillow in 2 weeks and then chuckwalla in Sept 16. I plan to install brand new q3s and use the set for both track days. I ride C group but I'm not too familiar with the heat limitations of the tires. I looked at the weather it's predicted to be about 98 degrees maybe close to 100. Would the q3s fail because they'll overheat or will I be fine? Thank you for your help. Premium Member ch3rryghost Posted July 26, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted July 26, 2016 You'll like the Q3s I have them on my other bike that I track with and they've held up really well. 4 track sessions, 3 in C 1 in B (2 Chuckwalla 2 @ Buttonwillow). Did fine in B-group but did have a whoopsy; nothing happened, traction came back and I stayed on but the rear slide out (happened at Off Ramp). Don't think it was necessarily the tires fault, more so me getting a little too throttle happy although they're starting to wear. They warm up quick and grip extremely well. I did a good amount of research before picking them and they've been true to what everyone has said about them. Have fun and stay hydrated.
