Guest Ralph
I ran mine for 55 miles with flashing block and managed to get 13.44 ltr in that's 3.55 US Gall it did not stop but started cutting out under acceleration. With the oil I put about 3/4 of what it says in then top it up with the bike vertical checking through the sight glass to get it to the top line, I then start it and let it run a min or two switch off give it time to settle then top it off if needed I then check it after the first ride. I have seen a few engines over filled to the point were the crank hits the oil but only a complete moron would not notice.
gregjet
OIL FILTER. You said this was you fist oil change. The first change is THE most important one to change the filter. All the initial metal polishing and removal of pre-assembly oxidization occurs in the first few hundred miles/km. The oil will be full of metal ( and should be). Change the filter at first one and you should have way less need to change it as often later. For the same reason I change my fork oil at the same time. Go forth and modify my son...go forth and modify...
