Bar end mirrors and air flow...

I realized after a long ride on the weekend that the wind just doesn't seem as bad as it used to on my bike.  I put a Givi screen on it, early on, and it seemed to help, but the wind would still bother me above 75mph. I regularly do highways to and from work now (started at a new location this year), and hit the required speeds (75, 85).  I put CRG bar ends on a few months ago, and it seems like the wind bothers me less now.  I might have just grown used to it, but I wondered if anyone else has noticed this, and can it be attributed to the bar ends cleaning up the airflow around the shoulders / helmet area, or is it just me getting accustomed to freeway speeds on the FZ-07?
