azuryn
Looks like my bike had some sort of paint thinner or lacquer thinner dropped on it which resulted in some pock marking on the clear coat on the left side of the gas tank. They are pretty shallow but noticeably wide. Any one know of any methods to try and touch it up? azuryn
Yea, that is looking like the cheapest and hassle free route.
bmwpowere36m3
Can't see the pic, but besides wet-sanding and re-clearing it... nothing will look as good. At $65 for a new panel, you won't find a body man to fix the existing panel and I wouldn't either personally.
Premium Member motomeek Posted June 9, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted June 9, 2016 +1 on the new panel if it bothers you that much. I think it'd be more money to fix it right than to purchase a new one... it is plastic afterall. Instagram: @meekmade | You don't need to flat foot a bike to ride it.
