rick
Just had a look at the Woodcraft piece. That's a pretty cool unit. You'll use the kill switch now to turn everything on? Can only hope that fixes it for ya.
rick
I know, wrong bike, but get past the hissing and spitting and page down to post [HASH]7 where this guy explains what he did to fix you exact issue with a Gixxer http://www.gixxer.com/forums/17-srads-97-00-600-96-99-750/245959-hotwired-ignition-switch-help.html If that's the case, then the Woodcraft piece might just fix it. ircsmith
rick I just got my manual and woodcraft part. plugged in the woodcraft harness and ta-da! all is good with the FZ. I have not studied the ZF wiring diagram but I think I see where I went wrong. thanks for the other links. I have a GSXR (avatar) that I have everything wired through the kill switch and did the same for my 600RR, so I did not think this would give me such a problem. well now its fixed. time to take it to the track! rick
Cool beans! There's gotta be a diode somewhere in the circuit that you bypassed by twisting just wires
