howlinhoss
Looked at the swing arm and there is no place to put swing arm spools! I guess I just need to use the platform attachments with my rear stand to jack up bike?
Cruizin
That would be the best way to go. There is a kit somewhere to connect spools to the axel, but that means you can't remove the rear wheel while on the stands so yeah, just get platform spools. Premium Member GAZ Posted August 11, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted August 11, 2014 Here is a how-to on the axel spool sliders. http://fz07.org/thread/484/installing-oes-axle-fork-sliders As mentioned above if you install these you won't be able to take off the wheel (without taking the axel bar/spools off). However, they're great for general maintenance and provide a little extra protection in case of a drop. Some stands out there will do both spools and platform.
