First trip and first 300 miles on the FZ-07

I chose the FZ-07 because it was under 400lbs wet, but still had the power to ride anywhere I wanted to ride. I bought it to have a lightweight bike to put in the back of the truck and take with me to places I didn't or couldn't ride to because of weather or amount of gear I needed to carry for work.  Looks like I already need to adjust the chain.  I was hoping it would make it to 600 miles.
When I have a multi-week work trip, I like to vacate the hotel on the weekends and do some camping.
This past trip I camped at Rocky Bayou State Park in Niceville, FL

The park is just north of the Choctawhatchee Bay, and is on the southern shore of Rocky Bayou.

I camped in my Napier truck tent with Airbedz matress that fills the entire bed of the truck.

So far, I have added the Puig sport shield which takes the wind off my Zumo 660 GPS.  I also added the Yamaha lower cowling to hide the welds on the exhaust.  The Skenedesign LED lights on both sides of the plate really make a difference when riding in traffic.
Hwy 20 runs along the north side of the bay for several miles. Pretty good riding, but not many curves in Florida.

Found a parking spot near this little vehicle.

I also made it to the Gulf of Mexico. This is somewhere between Panama City Beach and Destin Beach.

A good shot of my GPS.

It was about 70 degrees out. I was a little chilly with the wind factor, but there were plenty of bikinis out on the beach.

This huge warehouse on the south end of the Mid Bay Bridge near Destin was painted in these cool murals.

Back at the campsite. I had to change campsites in order to camp the entire weekend.
