Premium Member rowdy Posted February 8, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted February 8, 2016 This looks pretty fun... I think this might be the ideal bike for wifey (or an excuse for me to get another bike). [video src=https://youtu.be/9lJL09QrPPY] Why can't left turners see us? vertigo
If it's anything like any other Royal Enfield bikes, you don't want to own it. They are garbage quality.
Premium Member snowdriftless Posted February 12, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted February 12, 2016 If it's anything like any other Royal Enfield bikes, you don't want to own it. They are garbage quality.I think RE's get a bad rap in regards to quality that is undeserved. The newer models seem to be decent quality. They are not bomb proof but not as bad as other foreign manufactures (I'm looking at you Ural). The engine and components are not cutting edge designs working near the limit that require a physics degree to service. They seem to be pretty easy to service and with minimal wrenching they will last a long time. I think if anything they are overpriced. I was looking at the Royal Enfield Continental GT when I was looking for my first bike. The thing that drove me away was that I could get a much better bike for a similar price (Yamaha SR400 for example). Quality is there, price is not. P1: Vice? I have no vice, I'm as pure as the driven snow! P2: Yeah but you've been drifting All the gear all the time!
