Anyone know anything about theses rearsets?

Trust me, most after-market "solid" foot-pegs won't protect anything in a crash--they will simply break off. Perhaps, if they were forged instead of cast there might be a chance...

I don't think anyone expects foot-pegs to protect anything in a crash, do they?  I know I don't. ;)

I can attest to them acting as sliders when i crashed back in april
 
But that is the gilles tooling pegs, so that could be an exception

ATGATT... ATTATT, two acronyms I live by.

Fixed footpegs are probably designed to conform to most countries racing rules that basically say if non folding footpegs are fitted the MUST be of a "shear type" that break off in a crash.
