stefano225
Anybody seen this or ordered one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-Steel-Radiator-Guard-Cover-Protector-For-Yamaha-FZ07-MT07-2003-2015-/401018209757?var=&hash=item5d5e8c45dd:m:mZ-QNCi9eUbEtfcNJdEtErg&vxp=mtr price seems pretty cheap but not sure if design restricts air flow, looking at close up pics could be possible to dremel cut the mt 07 letters and rivets or maybe entire design retaining edges that holds mounting points?.What you guys think?. ryan4130
If you are going to modify something that heavily why not make a radiator guard yourself? Made mine for probably $20 including tools. Premium Member GAZ Posted May 6, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted May 6, 2016 All radiator guards will cause wind buffering due to the added restriction (holes) on it. However, what some people don't realize is that a good radiator guard also acts as a heat sink which will pull heat (from contact points) off the radiator and transfer it to the guard.
