travisaurusrex
I installed a tail tidy (thanks RotaryRyan) because I like the way it makes my bike look. The problem I have now is that any luggage larger than a very small tail bag obscures the rear turn signals. Does anyone have a suggestion for luggage (tail bag or panniers) that works well with a tail tidy? Ideally, I would like something that can fit my laptop for work so that I don't need to take a backpack. Also, is it even possible to use side bags/panniers with a tail tidy? Premium Member Snoopy Posted October 18, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted October 18, 2015 Hi - I got recently SW-Motech (same as OEM Yamaha bags) saddle-bags, they work with my tail tidy. Here is the link to the post: http://www.fz07.org/post/58671 For quick rides I use my tankbag from Hepco & Becker, takes only 30 sec to put on and it comes in different sizes depending on your needs, see post: http://www.fz07.org/post/21589. I got it at http://www.motomachines.com/ Love to ride!
Premium Member grahamfz07 Posted October 19, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted October 19, 2015 I ended up having to make a hybrid tail tidy once i got my hepco and becker bags. Very happy with the bags, they fit my laptop and a lunchbag [attachment id=1012" thumbnail="1][attachment id=1013" thumbnail="1]

Do you have any pictures showing the tail closer up? How did you make it?
Premium Member grahamfz07 Posted October 21, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted October 21, 2015 I used the stock top section for the drop, made up a simple plate frame, and added the light from my evotech tail tidy. Here is a few closer shots, let me know if you want to see anything more specific [attachment id=1021" thumbnail="1][attachment id=1022" thumbnail="1][attachment id=1023" thumbnail="1][attachment id=1024" thumbnail="1]
