Not sure how many ladies we have on this board, or how many ride track (or want to ride track), but just thought I'd see if anyone was interested in a trackday! This is a special trackday that they hold once a year out at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in southern california (about 200 miles east of LA or West of Phoenix, Arizona) that is limited to women only (Although there are always a lot of guys out there too as support crew or to just hang out, since there's a regular trackday the following day).

It's a charity event where they raise money for The Unforgettables foundation, an organization that helps families with expenses after the loss of a child, and they hold raffles and have all kinds of cool perks for both first timers and veterans. I've gone every year since it started, and as someone who does a lot of racing and trackdays every year, let me just say this is always my favorite. The camaraderie is off the charts, and it's just a super uplifting atmosphere. If you've never been to a trackday, I can't think of any day that's more accessible to beginners, especially when you have the likes of Jason Pridmore on hand giving advice and educational (coughTerrifyingcough) two up rides. You'll learn more about how to ride in a single day at the track than you will in months in the canyons, and it's really the most fun you can have on two wheels.

If you're interested, this year's femmewalla will be on December, 11th. All the information can be found here:

And here's a cool promo video they made for the year before that:

Hope to see some of you there!
