Premium Member username Posted October 11, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted October 11, 2015 Has anybody mounted their license plate over their tire rather than under their tail yet? Or to the left or right side of their tire even?

Premium Member username Posted October 15, 2015 Author Premium Member Share Posted October 15, 2015 I'm thinking it's going to have to be Jimmy rigged with some custom fabrication but I have no skills at most things of that sort.
Guest Ralph
At lest it will act as a mud guard as long as you have clearance when the suspension compresses.
Cruizin
I have done it on many bikes, will look for pics tonight. It's usually just done by drilling a hole somewhere under there and using a couple screws and washers. Pretty common on most bikes. Premium Member noltz Posted October 17, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted October 17, 2015 Cheaper, the prices includes VAT tax, when you add it to your cart and select US it goes down, there are 2 option, the license plate option at 330 USD and the no license plate option at 226 USD. effzee
I know this is an older thread, the fasteners under the tail closer to the engine are almost the exact width of a plate's holes. I just popped those out and some black plastic nuts and bolts to hold it. I used a small white LED light pointed at it from near the tail light. Used some aluminum to fill the hole and i have a customled tail light with the turns built in so i didnt need to spend anything on a tail tidy.
