betty
Hello from central PA, it's getting a little chilly up here. After motorcycle safety course in August, I took a test ride on a few bikes & narrowed my choices down to the 2015 Kawasaki Vulcan S with ABS, 2014 Honda CBR 500 with ABS, or 2015 Yamaha FZ-07....I went with the FUN one...and here I am! First bike, first season riding & I'm enjoying the heck out of it! Only been riding 2 months & already looking at customizing it...Lol. Wish me luck
Lucius
welcome to riding and to the FZ07 forum. I think you made the right choice. I had the CBR500 and while it's a great starter bike, it can get a bit boring in the long run. The FZ07 is easy enough to learn well on, but fun enough to enjoy for years to come. Enjoy it and again, welcome! Lucius

gork
As an MSF Instructor in PA thanks for taking the courses - and good luck with your new bike. Dont' forget that there are the BRC2 and the ARC (Advanced Rider Course) which are free to PA residents! Many take the BRC2 as a spring warm up, once you are are ready see us for the ARC. Great platform with a TON of options, have fun with the customizations!
Premium Member Eastern Kayaker Posted October 11, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted October 11, 2015 Welcome! When I started looking for a bike, I considered the 2014 Honda CB500F w/ABS, but also went with the FUN FZ-07. Be safe out there.
