Danmoto Exhaust

Recommended Posts

I just came across this exhaust fit for our bikes. They seem to a few different options for the muffler section. I like both the Carbon GT version and the XG-1. Does anyone have any info, pictures or sound clips on either of them? https://www.dan-moto.com/DM_INT/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=18_22_238&products_id=1522

My experience on a different twin:
Very loud, and the removable restrictor restricts power
If I did it again I would try the biggest bodied muffler and
Use the other restrictor that goes on the tip with modification
I really don't believe the danMoto is tuned for any bike
Just liberates the sound.

Do to think sound is comparable to other options available or do you think it would be louder? I also wonder if one of the supporting vendors would be working on a tune for this exhaust in the near future.

Dan-moto is cheap for a reason - not a lot of R&D. Their parts are generic. Twins and thumpers need far more care than triples and fours. If you want cheap noise, go ahead. But don't expect performance improvements. If you want noise, I'd drill holes in the OEM exhaust.

I'm picking up my Two Brothers S1R exhaust today. I am going to make a detailed install video this weekend.

So it'll probably end up cracking or having other problems pretty quick I'm assuming.

No Hater
I would like to see what some of their designs look like mounted.

I didn't say it was shoddily made, just that it's very likely not to be tuned much if at all.

Oh. I wouldn't mind getting a little extra power from it but I also don't mind it having no effect. Mainly trying to get something more sound and a better look.
