I like both the Carbon GT version and the XG-1. twotone Posted September 25, 2015 Share Posted September 25, 2015 My experience on a different twin: Very loud, and the removable restrictor restricts power If I did it again I would try the biggest bodied muffler and Use the other restrictor that goes on the tip with modification I really don't believe the danMoto is tuned for any bike Just liberates the sound. pattonme Posted September 25, 2015 Share Posted September 25, 2015 Dan-moto is cheap for a reason - not a lot of R&D. Their parts are generic. Twins and thumpers need far more care than triples and fours. If you want cheap noise, go ahead. But don't expect performance improvements. If you want noise, I'd drill holes in the OEM exhaust.
