Friend tried to eek out a couple thousand extra miles before taking it in for a milestone service at 30k, says they'll be sticking strictly to the cleaning interval from now on XD

I didn't realize they made an off-road, thru the swamp version of the Panigale. If Ducati was like Ferrari, the dude would have his bike repossessed by the dealer for crimes against an inanimate object, and blacklisted from ever owning another one.

Haha, well this owner is one of those rare people that acutally ride the bike. They've had it a bit over a year and racked up that many miles. The bike's design doesn't do them any favors, either, since the intake ducts are right under the headlights and lead directly to the airbox. It's a bit of a known issue that the Duc filter is horrible at keeping debris out of the airbox on these bikes. This aftermarket filter trapped nearly all of it this go round.

I'm surprised the bike still ran halfway decent, if not at a noticeable disadvantage.

Everything went braap.

It must have been down on power, some vehicles due to were they pick up the intake air
are much worse than others, if any of you run a Burgman 400 they are one of the worse
ones. At least he is using the thing many such bikes only do a few hundred miles a year.
