medieval
I would like to go to taller bars to get a more upright riding posture. Options look like taller bars or riser extensions. My questions are; where can I get longer clutch cable, longer front brake hydraulic hose and longer throttle cable assembly. I think that I can re-route the wiring to help there. My back doesn't like leaning forward.... any help would be appreciated.
modmaster
I used these from Twisted Throttle. I was able to use them without changing any cables. They are called barbacks. modmaster
foxtrotzulu07
I have two risers piggy-backed to give a little over a 3" rise and pull-back. They are set about 45 degrees to increase rise and bring the bars closer to the rider. Cables and hoses are long enough although clutch is close to needing a longer cable, but works just fine. Cable to the instruments is too short to go any farther. Instrument panel is attached to the bars in the same way as stock, except used Velcro to hold panel on the bars rather than the stock bolts. No more plumbers butt forward lean.
