cybmx
So I got some better pictures today. I made a small aluminum bracket to relocate my speedo onto my windscreen. It was pretty easy and turned out great. Now I can check my speed without looking down [/img]

yamahaha
Nice job! Stock position is a serious flaw for sure.
RobMoore
Nice, if I looked at my speedometer more than rarely I would give this a try.
Guest Ralph
Nice n simple and works, I don't have a problem with the speed'o in the org position but the rev counter I struggle with to the point I never look at it, your mod looks like it frees up the centrer of the bars for a sat nav as well good mod. Any problem with the wiring?
bigtwin
I did mine the day I bought the bike. Cable is plenty long enough. Perfect now for Sat Nav and key use.
cybmx
Haha yours looks great! Interesting that we came up with the same idea.
bigtwin
I did not like the gap between the screen and the top of the headlamp so I cut a fender extender for a BMW to create a black extension under the lower part of the screen. It matches the bike and I even thought it looked like a genuine Yamaha part! I also spaced the screen up by 1/2 inch to raise the clocks the same amount to give really comfortable access to the key. This also gives the bike a Tracer silhouette....
