Looking very good! Are you still able to use the Yamaha side case mounts with the fender eliminator?

Yes of course! Sorry for the late reply! I've been busy making a Sh*t ton of noise with my Akra Ti without the baffle and the Dobeck EJK installed!!

Little update everyone!

The dobeck EJK and baffle removal was a success! Sounds amazing! Added some red accents as well ie: Front air intake Mesh and Rear Mesh under the seat.

Here is her now!

Nice! How do you like the Yamaha side bags? I like the mounts...do they keylock or padlock on to keep losers from thefting the bags?

Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.          Fuss Life.

I like them a lot! Unfortunately they don't lock on the bike at all except for the plastic buckles from bag to bike.. but the zippers on the bags themselves can be locked with some luggage size pads... The only way to LOCK them to the bike is to use a short cable lock and lock them to the passenger pegs somehow. Haven't messed with it to much but I am thinking of a way to modify the current buckle system so it locks.

Let me know if you want pictures ????

Incase anyone is interested. I also Plasti-dipped the side covers and kick plates.. To me it kind of completes the bike and brings it together better.

Also here is a picture of the OEM Red Mesh inserts for the rear and a closer look at the Motodynamic tail light..

Picked up some "Flush mount" signals for an R6 and mounted them on the FZ. Looks great I think! Also had to order the Motodynamic Resistor kit to get the integrated tail light flashing at OEM rate. I was going to just leave it but the fast flashing bugs me and takes away the smooth sweeping motion for the rear signals.. All in all took about 30 minutes.

The rear sets are in the lower position. Better for leg room and comfort.

Oh yeah! There will be fiddling of all the things after a few canyon runs. I think its safe to say that these won't scrape like the stock ones even in the low position, but we'll see! I'm just worried about the kickstand now..
