dizzid1320 Posted July 4, 2015 Share Posted July 4, 2015 I use Chemical Guys Citrus Gel Wheel Cleaner, and cut it 1/3 with water. Obviously, cut it less if you need more degreasing power. You could use chain cleaner (or any other solvent) but it could possibly damage your finish. kakusaizou Posted July 5, 2015 Share Posted July 5, 2015 I actually did extensive research on this topic and eventually just said screw it and took whatever we had sitting in the garage. I used a bottle of Eagle One aluminium wheel cleaner. Since it is ph neutral I went ahead and used it. Worked great, it dissolved all of the grimey-waxy lube flung with a bit of agitation and simply washed away. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
