g3ngo Posted July 2, 2015 Share Posted July 2, 2015 During a short ride today I felt that my handlebars had a lot of give, meaning the bar could be pushed fore and aft rather noticeably. The bar itself doesn't rotate or slip, but the clamps the hold the bars to the triple clamps seem to be able to rock back and forth a bit. I didn't feel unsafe, but it's not exactly confidence inspiring either. Going to tighten them up over the weekend, but wanted to see if anyone else has noticed the "jiggly bars". g3ngo Posted July 2, 2015 Author Share Posted July 2, 2015 I considered that there might be some rubber in there to damp out vibrations, but couldn't see it so I wasn't sure.
