dpc46
I'm not sure if this is a common issue with our bikes but I noticed this from day one. From the factory with 0 miles to now (2100 miles). My oil levels have always been spot on. I can't say how much is actually coming out but I notice the level is lowering.
Premium Member norcal616 Posted June 29, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted June 29, 2015 It's water...it happens from the exhaust cooling down and trapping moisture...it's totally normal... 2015 fz-07- Hordpower Edition...2015 fj-09- 120whp- Graves Exhaust w/Woolich Race Kit- tuned by 2WDW

adamb
Stock exhaust has a catalytic converter, which converts hydrocarbons into water.

Premium Member yamahappy74 Posted July 1, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted July 1, 2015 That's because aftermarket exhausts typically don't use a catalytic converter, thereby eliminating the cause.
pH
Normal. Spray a tab of WD40 onto a rag and iot rubs off nicely.
dpc46
Well I found a way to fix the issue. I just installed an Akrapovic system.
Beemer
Ok thanks! Make me feel so much better. Anyone notice anything after getting new exhaust? Got an Akra system coming. I noticed after installing my Akrapovic carbon pipe that my bike wasn't a wolf in sheep's clothing any more. It's got some bark now!
