fflier9
Has anyone on here picked up any saddlebags for this bike? I'm not sure what fits...leaning towards just a rear seat bag becuase the side-mount ones are so expensive, plus requre additional hardware. Yamaha has some--$150 for the mounting hardware and $280 for the bags, and they're not even hard-case. Is that for real? I was looking at these, they may fit really well.http://www.cortech.net/inc/sdetail/super_2_0_contoured_saddlebags/181/
wingnutted
My buddy and I picked up a pair of these Givi ones for a trip we're taking down to NorCal later in the spring. They'll hold basically anything, really easy to attach. That Cortech bag looks like a pretty sweet option too, especially for the price! http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/givi-xs305-xstream-tail-pack Depends on how much storage you really need... fflier9
Wow. those look sweet. Wish I had that thing when I was touring the Midwest. You could fit stuff for a month in that thing... I don't need to fit a lot. A small laptop, books, notebooks, a change of clothes and shoes sometimes, that's it. I found these, too, I wonder if anyone's heard anything? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kappa-RA303-Side-Bags-Black-Saddlebag-Luggage-Motorcycle-Honda-BMW-Suzuki-Yamaha-/281275189881?hash=item417d4eca79&vxp=mtr

Premium Member tino206 Posted May 16, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted May 16, 2015 Not the cheapest but surely one of the best is the Kriega set, I just got the 20L one and I love it so far
fflier9
Tino, do you have a pic of it installed on your 07? I'm just worried it will interfere with the rear turn signals with a fender eliminator kit installed
Premium Member tino206 Posted May 17, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted May 17, 2015 I am pretty sick right so I can't take a picture of my set up but it looks exactly the same as this one here http://revzilla.ugc.bazaarvoice.com/8506-en_us/663715/photo.jpg
yamahaha
Has anyone got the motopak saddle bags? I found a fairly local dealer and will try them on for size this week. Pretty cheap at 100 bucks. http://www.motopakluggage.com/gts60.html
Kwaipuak
I really like those Cortech ones, will think about buying them before the summer.
yamahaha
I tried the Motopak saddle bags today. They would work but it would be a hokey setup. Nothing, really, to attach to in order to keep the bags from flopping into the tire. I guess something could be jury rigged but I'm not into it. Tailbag seems to be the easy option although I love saddlebags for swinging my old leg over and the low center of gravity.
