Wow, it's been a while since I've posted in here!

Figured I'd put up some recent pics to keep it up to date, lol.

Brought Yami to Laguna Seca for our vendor exhibit, and snapped some pics.  Yamaha liked the bike so much they let me put it in their booth so I can snap some pics with Rossi's bike :)

Nice job!

How did you do the graphic design? Do you have any "templates" of the panels?

Thanks!  I just took a side shot of the bike and played with it in Paint Shop Pro.
I may have some "templates"...I'll have to look.

Send me a PM with your e-mail address and if I still have them I'll send them to ya.

What do you think of the rearsets? Any difficulties installing?
Piece of cake, really.

The end of an era...

I've decided to race my FZ-07!!!

I've done well with the R3, but I'm too old to race it in the Junior Cup class at MotoAmerica, so I'm selling it and moving up to my FZ-07, in the hopes of racing it at the Pro level in the Twins class at MotoAmerica (assuming I can get a licence :) )

Good for you, that FZ should be Raced. Good luck and please be sure to post about your events and share your videos.

Looking forward to them.

Thank you!  But you can do it too!!!

I look at it this way...I was paralyzed in 2011.  Couldn't walk - back and spine issues.  A miracle surgery later (double spinal fusion), I got my life back.  Same thing happened recently at the beginning of this year with my neck (multi level cervical spinal fusion), and another miraculous recovery.

I was given a second chance...two of them actually, and I don't take it lightly.  I would be doing my medical team a disservice if I didn't live out my dream :)

I'm still doing track days.... My neck is 90% fused, C3-C4 via surgery, the rest is a degenerative/self fusing condition called D.I.S.H. (acronym for what's a mile long) 🙄. My entire range of motion in my neck is through C1-C2, and rotating my torso to "look through the corner". I've found I have to dial-it-back when on track, only because I can't lift my head high enough to see through the corner. This is actually why I ended up on the FZ-07 in the first place 🤣... I used to track a KTM RC390. After my fusion in 2017, I had to sell it because I SERIOUSLY couldn't see where I was going!!! I wear a LEATT neck brace for if things get "real" (even on the street). I still enjoy track days, and coaching/helping others learn to ride the track. I will continue track riding as long as I am able. Probably won't set any records, but it ALWAYS makes me smile being on-track 😎-

Ahh, understood. At least you're still finding a way to enjoy track riding!

I told myself I'll try to live out this dream as long as my body will hold up 🤣

Pgeldz amazing! Can you tell us why you used that exhaust on the motoamerica project bike? Instead of akrapovic ti?

Thanks!

All of the exhausts currently on the market were of the relative low short type, known to give great midrange torque.  I wanted to move the powerband to the right a little in the RPM range, and I thought a longer exhaust would be more suited for that.  Comp Werkes agreed and we set out to make something different:

A little more info on it can be found here:

Paulie, do you still have this bad ass FZ07? I live in Vegas I'd love to see this beauty in person.

Thank you.

Hi Zeke!  I do!  However, it looks a bit different now.  Converted it into proper race bike, with my own style :)

hello,

You bike is much nicer than my MT-07, its very nice.. I'm somewhere between your picture 1 and 2 working towards your second picture, going to keep adding what the most important modifications are.

Adding a larger rear sprocket is such a good idea, very good thinking. It has enough torque at the low end to get it moving can see you need more top end for the track.. Mine likes to slow down significantly at 100 MPH.

This is where my 2018 MT is at (If you have any recommendations on next best mod)

Front and rear spools

ASV shorty levers

Handle bar ends

SC Project Exhaust

Non Intrusive side markers

Frame Sliders

ECU(Not installed, unopened package)

Tidy Tail

DNA stage 2 air filter

Black Metal Radiator Cover

Windscreen

Tank Leg grips

Factory Pro Shift Kit

Dave Moss Fix in front

If you have any recommendations on the next biggest improvement, was thinking the R6 throttle Tube and cable and a new seat :)

Enjoy you ride

-Evan
